WHAT’S YOUR STYLE?

Our photography style is photojournalistic with a strong influence in lifestyle and fashion photography. However, we also direct as needed to bring out the best in you. We believe that unique angles and compositions along with refined photo editing skills are all necessary to produce expressive and timeless photographs, which we are proud to deliver consistently.

ARE YOU AVAILABLE FOR TRAVEL?

Yes! We are based in Charlotte, North Carolina and regularly serve the Carolinas; however, we’re happy to accommodate our clients anywhere. We will require travel accommodations, which we’d love to discuss in greater detail. Please contact us at nuvtang@gmail.com.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK YOU FOR OUR WEDDING?

A photographer’s schedule can be unpredictable, so to ensure availability on your wedding date, we recommend booking 3-4 months in advance – typically, the earlier you book, the more likelihood we are to be available.

HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHERS DO YOU BRING TO A WEDDING?

CAN I SEE A FULL-DAY EVENT?

Absolutely. We understand that it may be difficult to select a photographer based on a small selection of images alone and encourage you to to ask. We pride ourselves on quality and consistency and would be thrilled to show you what that looks like!

DO YOU DELIVER EVERY IMAGE YOU SHOOT?

We only deliver the best shots, which means you will not receive every single image. While shooting, we often snap multiple images simultaneously to ensure we get the sharpest one that renders the best expression in the moment. This often requires us to eliminate test shots, duplicates, blurry shots, and ones with unpleasant expressions.

WILL YOU PROVIDE RAW FILES?

Although we shoot all our images in RAW, we do not provide clients with those files because we believe in delivering a finished product. You will receive professionally edited, full-resolution files.

DO YOU POST-PROCESS YOUR OWN PHOTOS?

We believe post-processing is an important element of any photographer’s work, and edit all our images in-house. Our post-processing workflow consists of white balance adjustment, color and exposure correction, and detailed editing where necessary.

DO YOU TOUCH UP ALL THE IMAGES YOU DELIVER?

Every image you receive will embody our signature style and color, which you can see here. However, we do select a few images for extensive editing – this means going above and beyond the basic color correction such as removing distracting objects and nondestructive skin retouching. These images are selected at our own discretion – and only done when necessary to meet our standards and vision.

HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHS CAN WE EXPECT?

Every wedding is unique, so there is no “set number”. The number of photographs you receive is also largely impacted by the length of your wedding, number of guests, and festivities you have planned. That being said, you can expect around 50 images per hour.

DO YOU ALSO DO WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHY?

In order to do what we do best, we purely focus on photography; however, we have collaborated with incredibly talented videographers in the past and would be happy to make a recommendation.

DO WE HAVE TO PROVIDE YOU MEALS AT THE WEDDING?

Yes, we’d greatly appreciate it!

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO SEE MY PHOTOS?

The turn around time for fully edited photographs is about 4-6 weeks. Online galleries are also typically posted around this time.

IF I LOSE MY WEDDING PICTURES, WILL YOU HAVE A COPY FOR ME TO OBTAIN?

We archive our wedding files for a limited time frame, and therefore highly recommend you back them up after receiving them. However, if available, we can re-deliver them in a USB-Drive at a cost of $100.

DO YOU SHOOT EVENTS OTHER THAN WEDDINGS?

Yes, we’d love to photograph your celebration. Please contact us with details regarding hours of coverage, number of guests, and location so we can provide a quote.

HOW SOON SHOULD WE SCHEDULE OUR ENGAGEMENT SESSION?

We encourage you to schedule your engagement session at least 8-10 weeks in advance, but the sooner the better. This will give us a sufficient amount of time to edit your images and deliver them to you in a timely manner.

DO YOU HAVE A SAMPLE OF YOUR SIGNATURE WEDDING ALBUM TO SHOW?

Yes we do! We have one on hand and would love to show you during our consultation.

*Please note that we cannot guarantee or hold a date without a signed contract and $500 security deposit for all weddings. The remaining balance is due no later than 1 week before the wedding.
