It’s been a while since I came to Charleston for an engagement shoot, so when Frank and Trang picked it as their destination, I had a feeling it’d be a good one. The streets of Downtown Charleston really provide the best backdrop for a romantic love story. I think what sets Charleston apart from other coastal towns is the fusion of that vibrant southern charm and colonial style architecture. Charleston is also a very walkable city injected with botanical gardens, cobble stone streets (very reminiscent of Europe), and plenty of picturesque cafes that are ideal for lovers. That’s also why I’m quite addicted to this charming town myself. If you’ve seen my archives, then you’ll know that I’ve shot here many times, but each experience always yields different yet fantastic results. Below are the highlights from Frank and Trang’s engagement session. The first half of the session took place in dreamy cul-de-sacs and alleyways we stumbled upon as we were walking through random streets. We finished it off at Sullivan’s Island.
