Jekyll Island Engagement Session with Kyle & Tram

This Jekyll Island engagement session couldn’t have been more perfect. Kyle got on his knee and popped the question right here almost exactly a year ago. They decided to come back to this location for their engagement session since Tram loves the historic buildings, romantic Spanish moss and manicured greens, as well as the coastal landscape. It is truly a hidden gem – just an hour away from Savannah. I have to admit, I’d love to come back more often if the opportunity ever presents itself again. Kyle and Tram are such an adorable and adventurous couple that I had a great time photographing their love! I really admire that they’ve traveled all over the world together – very much like my partner and me. We started out around the Club and the Mistletoe Cottage area, then went for a change of clothes and headed down to the beach for a magical golden hour session. Driftwood Beach was such a unique way to wrap up the shoot. The shore is covered in huge chunks of driftwood that have been weathered, grayed, and gnarled by the environment. It’s so symbolic of their adventurous relationship. Backdrop aside, these two were flawless throughout the shoot and expressed themselves so naturally in front of the camera! Here are some of my favorites shots.
