We originally met Taylor and Nicole during the pandemic and learned that they had just relocated to Charlotte from Philly. They had a downtown wedding planned for March 2021. However, with their friends and family living afar and so much uncertainty surrounding COVID, the couple opted for a lake house elopement at the last minute. Despite having to change their wedding plans and being new Charlotte residents, they did the most perfect job selecting a lake house out in Mooresville, NC. With large sweeping windows and a gorgeous lake front, we were able to capture some gorgeous bride and groom portraits as well as wedding details. The beauty of elopements is how intimate they are – and this wedding was just that and more. We feel so incredibly lucky to have crossed paths with them and are excited to share our favorite shots from this special day.
