Here goes Round 2 of my unpublished wedding series – I have one more to share from 2018, then my 2019 wedding season officially kicks off. But for now, let’s dive into Tony & Annie’s special day. I had the pleasure of shooting their Mt. Holly Grand Hall wedding back in November. And like most weddings, we started off the day with getting ready photos at a local hotel then transitioned to their church ceremony. After the church, we worked through a couple’s session at Belmont Abbey College before taking off to the reception. Belmont Abbey College proved to be a perfect backdrop for the couple as it really allowed me to capture the fall foliage. Once we got to the Mt. Holly Grand Hall, I immediately noticed how the brick walls and string lights took center stage, exuding that cozy, rustic vibe that’s so ideal for intimate weddings. However, what I enjoyed most was seeing the clash of two distinct cultures (Vietnamese & Lao) fuse together seamlessly.
If you recognize any familiar faces from my archives, then it’s because Tony was actually a groomsmen from the previous wedding (seen here). It’s always an honor to be recommended by my couples to their friends and family. Hope you guys enjoy this one!
