We had the honor of shooting Scott and Lacy’s modern, elegant wedding at the Kimpton Tryon Park Hotel in Charlotte, NC and it was an absolute dream. In case you missed it, we shot their engagement last November and hadn’t seen them since. However, we knew from the get go that they were our ideal couple. Lacey’s exquisite taste meshed with Scott’s simplicity set us up for the most perfect day. Thanks to their brilliant wedding planner, Sara (from Soho Events), the entire day went as planned – it was everything a wedding photographer could ask for.

Both Scott and Lacey are from California, so it was a joy to witness their family and friends pour in from across the nation to celebrate their nuptials. If we had to pick a favorite moment from the day, it would be the ceremony, which took place on the rooftop of Merchant & Trade at the Kimpton Tryon Park Hotel. The skyline views were not only breathtaking but it was a perfect fit for the bride and groom to seal their vows. The evening ended with a romantic, candlelight dinner and endless dancing on the floor.
