Fall is proving to be a busy season this year. And it all started last month with David and Cady’s wedding. The event took place on two different days – and at separate locations. We kicked it off with the traditional church ceremony and took snapshots of the couple’s closest friends and family. It was a short morning and we concluded Day 1 with the couple’s portrait session. This happens to be my favorite part of any wedding. I love being able to capture the heartfelt emotions of the groom and his bride after they exchange their vows – and David and Cady were truly a joy in front of the camera.
The main portion of the wedding took place on the second day at The Cotton Gin. The wedding venue’s unique barn setting perfectly suited the couple’s love for nature and all things rustic. I was enamored with the beauty of the farm, open fields, and surrounding trees. There were so many great spots for photo ops, and we made sure to take full advantage of it. Despite two sweltering days and running around in the heat, we got plenty of beautiful shots that accurately reflect the couple’s day. Scroll ahead to see this rustic farmhouse wedding for yourself!
